1969 Apollo 11 Moonshot Glass

On the 20th of July 1969 Man first landed on the moon and this Moonshot Glass was one of a long list of weird and wonderful things that were sold to commemorate the event.

Various types of glasses were brought out but this moonshot glass made in the shape of Apollo’s service module made it a very unique and practical glass where you could drink from it as a normal glass or turn it upside down to use as a shot glass.

American Patriotism was running high at the time and so the decals were done in Red, White and Blue and with the American eagle swooping to land on the moon with planet Earth in the background I personally think it’s a stunning reminder of a truly historic day in history.

Standing 6 inches tall and 2 ¾ inches across it would make a wonderful addition to any collector’s collection
