to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Queen's accession to the throne in 1952.
The designs, which are by Arnold Machin OBE, RA, show The Queen in Her uniform as Colonel-in-Chief of the Grenadier Guards
and on the reverse the Ampulla and Annointing Spoon that were used in the Coronation Ceremony.
These are believed to to date respectively from the 14th and 12th centuries and are probably the oldest items
in the Royal Regalia to have remained in constant use
Made in Sterling silver with a diameter of 38.61mm and weighing 28.276 grammes and comes complete with certificate and box
