The Lady Haig Poppy Factory was set up in 1926 in the grounds of Whitefoord House, but moved to Marryat House in 1931. This employed disabled veterans making poppies for Scotland. The current factory in Edinburgh still employs disabled people, but has now been integrated into the charitable Earl Haig Fund Scotland Ltd.
The Plate measures 230mm and is in mint condition.
